A lot of people are nervous about incorporating new aspects of sexual exploration into their sex lives, but it’s a lot easier than you might expect!
In this post, I’ll show you how you can incorporate small aspects of kink into your sexual experiences, in a way that doesn’t feel intimidating.
Keep in mind the SSC rule — Safe, Sane, & Consensual!

Dirty Talk
I always encourage others to explore more ways to communicate during sex—dirty talk is a great way to do that. Try out some honorifics like ‘sir’ or ‘ma’am’ to incorporate some power play dynamics! Talk to your partner to understand if they enjoy degradation or praise or both! These are valuable tools we can use during sex. You can also try out some begging!
Try out:
•”Good girl/boy”
•”You like that?” “Yes, sir”
•”Can I please cum?”
•”You’re a good slut for me,”

Sensation Play
Using a blindfold is one of the easiest ways to get a little kinky. With the sense of sight removed, every touch feels more intense. There’s also an element of surprise, kind of a “What are they going to do next?” feeling that can be exhilarating. I encourage you to try this out during foreplay! Try some gentle touches or a sensual massage with a blindfold to get used to the lack of sight in a pleasurable way.
Some toys you can use along with a blindfold are:
• Feather ticklers
• Sensation pinwheels
• Bullet vibrators

Collars
Sometimes, something as simple as wearing a collar that your partner put on you can feel so intimate. A lot of people like the feeling of ‘belonging to’ someone or feeling ‘owned’ by a partner. Try allowing your partner to put the collar on you themselves; this can be incorporated into foreplay, as well. Try giving the collar a tug, do you like the feeling? Have your partner tug on your collar, do you like feeling drawn to them?

Have fun introducing some kink aspects into your sex life!
